The Super Bowl ads are the most visible showcase for the advertising industry. They capture the nation's interest and are often more entertaining than the game itself. Starting at $3.5 million for a 30-second spot, advertisers gobbled-up the last of the Super Bowl ad slots just after Thanksgiving. Will their creative pay off?
Once again, the Puget Sound American Marketing Association (PSAMA) and American Advertising Federation Seattle (Ad Club Seattle) have joined forces to assemble a panel of experts from both the agency and client side to review the standout ads from the 2012 Super Bowl.
Join us at The Hawk's Nest, next to Century Link Field, where we'll see if Madison Avenue’s 2012 predictions about racier ad content, Facebook fatigue, and a push by China-based brands are on target, and whether Shazam will give QR codes a run for their money in delivering additional content to consumers.
